FROM HOMELESS TO HIGH SCHOOL; FROM CLIENT TO COLLABORATOR
"I would first off like to thank you for everything you have done for me from providing me food, helping me find shelter, emotional support during times of crisis. Your staff and volunteers are outstanding and extremely loving and kind. I am living in Arizona now and just started a job at the local supermarket and I am back in school and should receive my high school diploma within the next year. As an expression of my thanks, I am making a $25 a month pledge."

TURNING LIVES AROUND WITH COMPASSION AND CARING
"I made it back home and everything is fine and dandy. My family had open arms for me from pain and worry. Often I tell my family about homelessness and how much I had to depend on The Cooperative Feeding Program for support. If there is anything like love and gratitude, I have it for you. Care and love is not about money or material things, its about building someone up that was less fortunate than you are."

To All the Angels:
Back in 1996, I was homeless and pregnant and addicted to crack cocaine. I would frequently stop in for breakfast and was always greeted with a smile. The food always smelled so good and tasted even better.
There was one older gentleman there, in particular, that would give me a little extra if he could. He always seemed so cheerful to be there, to be helping out the less fortunate. He is the reason I am writing this letter. I want him to know that he, and everyone there, are angels and truly an inspiration to all. I wish I knew his name. Thanks to all of you, my unborn child was fed. There is no doubt that you had a hand in her being born as healthy as she was.
Since then, I have become clean and sober and am a paralegal for the prosecution of criminals, drug dealers included. I believe that I went down that path for a reason, and that God put your there to help.
Although many years have now passed, I still feel the need to say thank you, once again. And a special thank you to that one gentleman - you are thought of often.
God bless all of you!
Yours very truly,
T.L.

Dear Cooperative Feeding Program,
We just wanted to say Thank You for helping us with the deposit to move in our apartment. Without the help of your program at The Cooperative Feeding Program, we would never have been able to move into our new place. This thank you is long overdue. I thank you for the time when you gave us food, too. I do not have a lot of money or food that I can contribute right now but I can help you so you can help others. I am willing to volunteer. When I am able to give I will give, I will also donate clothes if needed. I just have one last thing to say. It is great to know that when the people in the community need a helping hand that you can provide help. I truly thank you again from the bottom of my heart.
Love,
M, S, B, M, and K.

Dear CFP Group,
Thank you. Words can't explain how much. The baby can't talk, but you can see the joy and peace in his face. It's real nice to know that you're there to help in times of need. And the niceness that comes from everyone there is appreciated. You feel like someone when you come to the office. Thank you for everything.

Dear Cooperative Feeding Program:
Please accept this note as a formal thank you in recognition of your efforts. As you are aware, I was having trying times when you met me and am now in a more positive situation.
When I was down, you made time to listen to me, hear my sad story, recognize my ambition and provide me with the financial assistance I needed to make life a little more pleasant. You have also been there for my family and gave us food when our cupboards were bare.
I believe that your efforts are a reflection of the best kind of humanity. And that is worth reward. I hope it pleases you to know hat you gave someone worthy of a chance the resources to make changes. As before, I remain steadfast in my resolve to take care of my family and regain the independence that I lost. I will remember your kindness and belief in my abilities. I also believe in you.
Thank you once again,
M. G.
